At SS Alignments & Auto Repair, we take pride in the superior quality of our auto repairs and in delivering the results that we promise every time. We'll never perform a repair that isn't necessary, and you count on full transparency with the current needs of your vehicle. The following are the main auto repairs and maintenance services we offer.
The purpose of a proper wheel alignment is to keep the vehicle’s tires wearing properly, the steering wheel centered, and the vehicle driving straight. The first step for a wheel alignment is setting the tire pressures and inspecting the front suspension and steering. If loose parts are present, the alignment will not hold, nor can the adjustments accurately be obtained.
We will always inform our customers if any repairs are needed before we begin the alignment. If steering or suspension parts are needed, it is crucial that we address this before the alignment is performed. After verifying the vehicle is ready and able to be aligned, we make all adjustments necessary for the front suspension and rear if applicable.
Occasionally additional parts may be required in order to make the necessary adjustments. Surprisingly, this is because not all manufacturers equip the necessary parts needed to make adjustments. We will inform you if this occurs and have most of these parts readily available.
Four-wheel alignments start at $89.99 plus tax.
Steering and suspension are directly correlated with your wheel alignment. We want your vehicle to drive straight and comfortably. If your vehicle is having issues with these areas, let us know, and we can direct you on the best way to get your vehicle back to performing properly.
A power steering service will flush the old, dirty fluid from the system, leaving new OEM-specific fluid that will help your steering system function properly. Power steering flushes are recommended every 100,000 miles.
Power steering flushes are $99.99 plus tax.
All the oil changes we complete will include a 19-point digital vehicle inspection, tire pressure setting, oil life reset, and washer fluid top-off, all at no additional charge. We carry Dexos-approved full synthetic engine oil for gas engines and Shell Rotella conventional oil for diesel engines.
Oil changes start at $49.99 plus tax (five-quart system, $6.99 for each additional quart).
Diesel conventional oil changes start at $98.99 plus tax and diesel synthetic oil changes start at 138.99 plus tax (10-quart system, $5.99 for each additional quart).
Our brake service includes removing brake rotors and resurfacing the rotor if thickness permits, replacing brake pads with a high-quality brake pad, lubricate the caliper guides and slide pins, and inspect for leaks in the hydraulic system. We also perform a test drive to burnish the new pads to the resurfaced rotor and verify proper operation.
We take safety very seriously. Brakes are one of the most important areas of your vehicle. When something doesn't feel quite right, it's best to have them inspected. We are ready to assist you with making needed repairs so that your vehicle stops smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Passenger car pads and rotors start at $225 per axle plus tax.
Trucks/SUVs start at $249 per axle plus tax.
Brake fluid flushes are $89 plus tax.
A brake fluid flush is the best service to prevent brake line corrosion and moisture buildup within a brake system. Corrosion causes brake line failure over time, and moisture will start that process. This is recommended every 100,000 miles.
Engines today are very sensitive and require attention to detail to properly diagnose and repair. With our extensive training and vast experience, we are the right shop for your vehicles’ engine repairs.
Our basic tune-up service will freshen up the engine and rejuvenate it back to life, running freshly and smoothly. It will be customized to fit your vehicle needs and will include OEM-specific spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Prices will vary based on the vehicle. This service is meant as a maintenance item. If the engine is running roughly, let us diagnose it to ensure the right action is taken before unnecessary repairs are made.
Nobody likes driving without A/C or heat in their vehicle. We will gladly inspect and diagnose what is keeping your vehicle from performing, and we will recommend the appropriate repair that your vehicle needs.
A/C diagnosis is $114.99 plus tax (includes diagnosing the cause of the issue, leak detection, evac, and recharging A/C).
